Acid Touch, referred to as Poision in the remastered version, is a Special Attack that puts the Acid Status Effect on an enemy, causing it to lose health over time.
Learning Acid Touch[]
After defeating Pain and his forces at Northshore Fort after Day 12 (Day 8), Lock and Isaiah head to Antonia to visit the Chief Archineer, Kenan, but Antonia West is soon under attack by Clockworks, which forces Lock to complete a Siege (Antonia Defense) minigame. After that, the Veteran will teach Lock the Acid Touch ability.
Effect[]
The Acid Touch ability can spray Acid onto a single enemy, dealing damage over time. Spin the gear in the correct direction 3 or 4 times depending on the number, and if done successfully, the Acid effect will deal 15 damage for approximately 7-8 seconds, enough to kill a enemy with 250 health or less. This ability is very useful and is used often by many players. It is also more useful when combined with the Vampire Drain and the Attack Buff, especially when fighting tougher enemies or bosses, as you can deal extra damage as well as drain health from them.
