Clockwork Healers are common enemies in the Clockwork Army.
History
Frozen Mountains
Healers first appear in Deception Pass, as part of the massive hordes of Clockworks to break through the gates to recapture the nomads' source supplies, but are destroyed by Lock and Kingdom Force, despite the Sapper's efforts of pushing the archineer's lines further and further each day.
Healers appear in the Iceflo Taiga, as part of Heavy's forces to destroy both Lock and Bluebit, but Lock destroys them, as well as Heavy, and he and Bluebit escape to the Frozen Caverns to meet a Seer.
Antonia Defense
Healers appear in Antonia East's Antonia Defense mode, to capture the Source Well alongside Soldiers, Knights, Magicians and Flyers, but are destroyed by Lock, allowing him to access the Eastern Forest.
Eastern Forest
Healers appear in Warren Forest to aid the Clockworks to capture the Source Well, but are once again destroyed by Lock.
When Lock and Kingdom Force enter the Well Cluster, they encounter Lord Agony, Beast and other Clockworks. When Lock questions why Agony is bringing war to the Kingdom, a Magician, Healer, Beast, two Brutes and Burrowers attempt to destroy Lock, but are halted by Agony. After their conversation finishes, the Clockworks pull back. Healers are part of the many Clockworks guarding the three Source Wells, but are recaptured by Lock. Healers then aid the other Clockworks to recapture them, but their efforts fail thanks to Lock and Kingdom Force.
Healers aid the other Clockworks in The Fallen Crypt to destroy Lock and Bluebit. After Lock defeats the Phantom Ringleader, Clockworks are shown to be protecting a Source Well, but are destroyed by Lock and the Well is captured. Clockworks return to recapture it, but are once again destroyed.
Healers make their final appearance in the Ironfist Quarry, aiding the Clockworks to capture the villagers and the Source Well, but are destroyed by Lock and Isaiah. Healers are also responsible for guarding the Metal supply, but is captured by Lock. Lock reinforces his walls to Metal to defend the Source Well much more securely against the Clockworks (which some have upgraded to Silver Clockworks) and Beast.

Physical description
Healers have the same face as their counterparts, Magicians. Their head has a silver line around it, with a white stripe running across the top. Their horns are shotter compared to Soldiers and Knights, but taller than Brutes and Shielders. Healers wear a drape on the front and back of their bodies, which goes down to their kneecaps. The drape is white in color with a horizontal red stripe on both sides. Their feet is colored dark silver. Healers carry a silver scepter with them, which is used to heal nearby damaged Clockworks. Their armor is colored dark orange and light yellow.
Powers and abilities
- Magic: Healers can control and manipulate magic for various uses.
- Healing: Healers can use magic to heal nearby Clockworks, or themselves. They raise their scepters to surround Clockworks in a dark purple light (yellow in the remastered version) with white stars to repair damage dealt to them.
Strategies and guides
The best strategy to deal with Healers is to use Anti-Magic Field traps, as these temporarily nullify their healing abilities, as Healers can be more annoying when encountered with other clockworks, especially heavier units. When fighting Lock, use the Acid Touch and the Attack Buff combined, to easily destroy them before they are given the chance to heal themselves at least more than 3 times. Basic Turrets, Burning Splashes, Freeze Snares and Acid Tripwires should also be used to deal with Healers in larger groups. In battles, Healers work well in groups with Archers, Knights, Shielders and Magicians.
Upgrades
Silver Healer
Healers upgrade to Silver Healers on Day 66 at Marshe Lowlands along with the. Silver Healers have increased attack power and health, and drop more Source. They are first introduced at Marshe Lowlands.
Elite Healer
Silver Healers upgrade to Elite Healers on Day 90 at Desecrated Road. Elite Healers have increased attack power and health, and drop more Source.
Description
- New enemy description: "Healers can repair damage done to fellow Clockworks."
- Archineer Hall description: "Healers have the ability to repair nearby Clockworks and should should be dealt with first. Nobody understands this ability, but it doesn't seem to work on humans."
Trivia
- In the remastered version, Healers no longer deal damage, even if they are nullified by a Anti-Magic Field trap.
- According to the description in the Archineer Hall, Healers' healing powers are ineffective on humans, nor does anyone understand the ability.
- Healers are quite comparable to White Magikoopas from their appearances in the Paper Mario series, as well as their appearance in Mario & Luigi: Dream Team (though in that game, it is labelled as Kamek (White)), as both are capable of healing themselves and their allies. However, White Magikoopas can also attack using magic, whereas Healers cannot attack using magic, they attack just by raising their scepters.
