Clockwork Shielders are somewhat common enemies in the Clockwork Army. They are Clockworks that hold a shield and draw turret fire away from other clockworks. They do not attack, but they have high HP.

History[]

Between the events of Northshore Fort and Foothill Cliffs[]

Jacob created Clockwork Shielders as part of his Clockwork army.

Current timeline[]

New enemy shielder

Clockwork Shielders make their first appeaeance at Foothill Cliffs. They make other appearances at Nomad Settlement, Deception Pass, Iceflo Taiga, Warren Forest, Well Cluster and Ironfist Quarry, assisting their fellow Clockworks in capturing Source Wells, as well as participating in various other objects.

VS[]

Clockwork Shielders, Magicians and Phantoms become available after completing Day 1. Shielders can be purchased for 120 Source.

Physical description[]

Clockwork Shielder Idle

Clockwork Shielders have a similar appearance to Clockwork Soldiers and Clockwork Archers, but lack a blue eye and cape/hood respectively. They are small in size. They wield a large shield almost the same height and size as their bodies. The shield is colored yellow-orange, the same color as their armor. The shield also appears to have orange-red paint running down from the center.

Silver Shielder[]

Shielders upgrade to Silver Shielders on at Shellrock Cape. Silver Shielders have increased health, and drop more Source.

Elite Shielder[]

Silver Shielders upgrade to Elite Shielders at Dark Ridge. Elite Shielders have increased health, and drop more Source.

Descriptions[]

New enemy description: Shielders are heavily-armored and draw turret fire, protecting allies.
Archineer Hall description: A Clockwork Shielder is trained to draw enemy fire away from its allies. Though physically weak, they are extremely resilient against traps and turret fire.
