Eastern Forest

The Eastern Forest is located east of Antonia.

Description[]

The Eastern Forest is a dense forest, home of many plantlife. The most prominent features are trees, though other plants, such as flowers and mushrooms can be found here.

The Eastern Forest also appears to contain some graveyard elements, and there is even an actual graveyard found in the forest. Some skulls, cobwebs and dead trees can be found at the forest.

The Eastern Forest appears to have many locations for setting up camps by Kingdom Force. This forest also has the most Source Wells found here, which the most are found at the Well Cluster.

There also appears to be a small village found within the forest, near the graveyard.

Background[]

Isaiah was assigned to hold off Clockwork invasions at the forest. This was proven to be unsuccessful, as the Clockworks were able to push back and capture several Wells.^[1]

During Lock's journey to the Forest[]

After ending his campaign at the Frozen Mountains, Lock was assigned to assist Isaiah at the Eastern Forest. Lock was required to subdue Clockwork attacks before passing through the gates of Antonia East.^[2]

Lock travels to Brookwood Camp, where Isaiah tasks him to protect a lone Source Well at the Warren Forest. Despite encountering a new enemy, Clockwork Burrowers, Lock succeeded this task and returns to the camp. He receives word that Lord Agony's army created a diversion on the camp, as the Clockworks have captured three Source Wells at the Well Cluster.

Upon arrving at the Cluster, Lock comes face-to-face with the Lord of the Clockworks himself.^[3] After reclaiming and protecting all three Wells, Kenan arrives to the forest, and tasks Lock to reclaim the Metal supply at the Ironfist Quarry.

To reach the Quarry, Lock first travels through the graveyards, whilst bringing Bluebit with him. They encounter new enemies, Clockwork Phantoms. Lock later fights the Phantom Ringleader. Afterwards, he finds Clockworks guarding a Source Well, which he later reclaims. Lock has Bluebit return to Antonia while he protects the Source Well from Clockworks.

Afterwards, he reaches the Quarry, where he encounters Lord Agony once more. As he reveals information about Kenan to Lock, Isaiah attacks his forces, forcing them to regroup and call reinforcements. Lock and Isaiah are tasked to protect the villagers and Source Well. Among this, Lock also finds out that the Clockworks are getting stronger and developing new upgrades, as Clockwork Soldiers have been powered up to Silver Soldiers. As Isaiah evacuates the villagers to the camp, Lock manages to secure the Metal supply.

Isaiah returns to help Lock protect the Source Well from Clockworks, and later, from Beast, the Clockwork Brute general. As the two Archineers progress, they encounter more upgraded Clockworks, Silver Knights, Silver Brutes and Silver Archers.

Trivia[]

No Turrets can be unlocked at any locations within the Eastern Forest.
Also, there are no caves home to a Seer.
- However, there is a cave within the forest, leading to the Hall of Heroes.
Warren Forest and Ironfist Quarry are the only battlemaps in the Eastern Forest appearing in the multiplayer VS mode.
Brookwood Camp, one of the locations of the Eastern Forest, has a reference to three deceased characters from Drawn to Life (view the top three images in the Gallery section).
