Day 42 is the forty-second day in Lock's Quest.

When Lock reaches the Well Cluster along with some Kingdom Force units, they run into Lord Agony and several different Clockworks. All but one Knight and Lock runs away upon spotting Lord Agony. Lock says to Agony "I'm not gonna run from you... Why are you doing this to our world!?" Just before clockworks could attack, Agony stops them and let the "peon" speak. Infuriated, Lock threatens him to take his mask off and call him a peon to his face. Agony threatens that he could crush Lock due to his power. Lock says, "Give it your best shot...", and the Knight runs away. Agony then refuses, and tells him that his other servants will handle Lock. Lock is confused, before Agony tells the clockworks to pull back. As they do pull back, Lock gets pushed by a Clockwork Magician. Lock then says "Other servants? If I had Isaiah here, we could have taken them." Lock also says "I should locate a nearby Source Well in this area. Then we can start setting up some defenses!", commencing the build mode.
